Like Sion and its adjoining areas are in close proximity to Dadar which is a very important location in Mumbai. It can be arguably termed as the most important location in the city as it is at the juncture where the western, central and alternate railway lines meet. Sion being in close proximity to Dadar shares some of the importance. Sion has been and still is a very vast residential area where mainly the fishermen communities reside. But now there are massive townships and residential complexes as well. The people have an advantage of being in close proximity to Dardar, making they're traveling easy.
The only stone in the foot is the horrendous lack of transportation that makes traveling to Dadar a very difficult task. It’s very hard to get a public transport from Sion that heads towards Dadar owing to the oceans of people residing in the nearby areas, all willing to go to places all the time. To tackle that problem, you can rent a cab in Sion with driver and visit any place for a convenient ride. You can go to Dadar and board a train from there or go to the location directly as you can a convenient ride to all your desired destinations.
